(Indianapolis, IN) - Indiana's
6th Congressional District offically has it's first Candidate
on
November's election Ballot. On April 24th, 2010, The
Libertarian
Party of Indiana announced
TJ Thompson as their Nominee for the November 2nd election.
In June of 2009, TJ Thompson began his
campaign for Indiana's 6th as an Independent candidate. TJ has
harvested the first fruits of his labor, and is now looking ahead to
the November showdown.
The Indiana Libertarian Party (http://lpin.org/)
gained ballot access in 1994, and shows no signs of relinquishing that
access. The LPIN is fielding candidates in all 9 of Indiana's
US
Congressional
Districts, as well as a US Senate Candidate to fill Evan Bayh's seat.
The key to the Party maintianing access to the Ballots is
gaining 2% or more of the votes in the Indiana Secretary of
State
race. You can find
information about all of the LPIN Candidates at http://lpin.org/
