Do I feel that Iran is a
viable threat to the United States? Yes - Politically and Economically. Am I
pleased that our current and the previous President refuse to talk to the
leaders of Iran? Absolutely not! I am still extremely disappointed with
President Bush for vehemently refusing to speak with Iranian President
Ahmadenijad when he was in the US to speak at the United Nations. Current
President Obama has yet to speak with him, as well. If I am elected, I
will be a bigger man than both Mr. Bush and Mr. Obama - I will act like an adult
and sit down and talk about the disagreements between the US and Iran. It is
time to stop acting like children in the schoolyard and be Respectable Adults.
Sitting down at a table and discussing problems is the appropriate thing to do -
NOT sling insults and give each other the Silent Treatment as children do.
