This is a 10th Amendment issue - A matter of State's Rights.  The 10th Amendment of The Constitution states, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

     Therefore, the Federal Government has ABSOLUTELY NO PLACE being involved with Abortion.  The responsibility falls up EACH state to bring The People to the polls and have a statewide Referendum to dictate the legality of Abortion within that State.

      Personally, I have a child, so I know exactly what would be eliminated.  I could not fathom destroying a miracle that is a child.  I also understand that not everyone shares the same viewpoint, and I completely respect that.
